Our benches are hand crafted of 10-gauge steel and securely welded for structural integrity. The back and bench skirt are laser cut, and all edges are ground by hand to assure smooth, snag-free surfaces. Rolling the steel gives the bench back and seat a comfortable, graceful curve that works in any spot in your home or garden. A marine-grade matte black powder coat finish withstands the elements, and a simple wash with mild soap and water will remove environmental grime and restore the lustrous finish.

The artwork that makes our benches so unique and lyrical has been commissioned and rendered exclusively for The Bench Dogs. Once you’ve chosen your special breed from our popular selections, the crafting process begins in our Connecticut shop. Every component of each bench is thoroughly inspected throughout fabrication, to assure that no bench is shipped unless it’s perfect. Your bench will arrive with a custom tailored all-weather cushion in a lovely shade of pale gray, ready to enhance any spot in your home or garden.

I am Adele Cutrali-Valovich, the creative force behind “The Bench Dogs”. I’m a classically trained violinist who taught Orchestra in the public schools for 41 years. Creating “The Bench Dogs” has allowed me to incorporate my love for my Golden Retrievers, Magic and Teddy, with my passion for artistic expression and gardening. What makes my benches unique is that I seek to make them realistic, whimsical, portraits of the breed. I hope you enjoy owning them as much as I relish their creation. What breed will be next?
